Funding for support
KEY is committed to ensuring that all our support services give excellent value for money and have transparent costs.
Our support can be funded for in a variety of ways. Different local authorities have different ways of funding support services, but most are working towards individual funding arrangements.
If you wish to be supported by KEY or want to arrange support for a relative, it is best to discuss the options with your local authority.
KEY’s support can be funded by:
- The local authority giving KEY an agreed amount of money to provide support to the person.
- The person (or their representative) paying for support through a direct payment, (that is an individual budget given to them by the local authority to pay for support), ILF award or personal funds.
KEY’s regional contact person can provide further advice. Click here for contact details.
